Thriller Task: Risk Assessment

When filming our thriller opening we must be cautious of any dangers or trouble that might happen.

Hazard
Possible Risk
Prevention
Nails
There might be nails which could cut us or go into our feet.
To prevent this we will wear thick boots and we will check the area for any nails before filming.
Tripping Over
There are lots of things on the floor which we could trip over and injure ourselves.
To make sure that we don’t fall, we will be careful about where we are filming and what is around us.
A Moving Vehicle
There will be a moving car which could run over our feet or the soldiers could fall off of the sides.
To prevent this we will be cautious around the car and the soldiers won’t be on the sides for too long.
Guns
A member of the public could see us using guns and they could think that they are real and they might call the police.
We are filming on private property and it is out of the way of the public eye. If anyone does, see us then we will lay down the guns and explain what is happening.
Machinery
There might be some machinery that could cut or injure us.
We will be careful when we are around any machinery and we will try and avoid it if we can. We will also take a med kit in case any of us do get injured.
Glass Windows
There are glass shed windows which we could accidentally break with our guns and it could cut us.
We will be cautious of where our guns are pointing and we will keep clear of the windows.
